Moments

Poor child is grieving in pain for last 5 days. First permanent molar brings so pain and discomfort I realized now. I don't remember mine but it's really painfull. The problem has compounded because of tonsillitis. I could have given him cold food like ice cream to relieve him from pain but tonsillitis prevents me from doing it. The gums have swollen. He is on antibiotic for last 3 days. Improvements are felt but not enough to bring him to the dining table. Because of the swollen gums he is unable to chew food and he is not mature enough to just use his first set of teeth.  Yesterday we went to get his nanji and nani from railway station. I gave him a appy tetra and he managed to gulp some inside. But that's all he has eaten till now. Actually due to navratra we are not giving him non veg. But I feel pity. I felt crying sat night when he said the food is tasty but he can't eat. Early Sunday morning, he was crying because of hunger, I gave him some milk solids. It's ...

Once Adi is over with his viral now it's Etu turn. He is having teeth pain particularly the gums, sore throat and little high temperature. Etu and me slept over the cot on floor. The cot was not good, it has bumps and I didn't sleep well. Need to change the cot. He wake up at 4 and poor chap was not keeping well. The occasional pain in throat makes it difficult to breath as well. I gave him ibugesic and he was sleeping till 11:45. At least he had a good sleep and hopefully he will come back strong. He is eagerly waiting for his nana and nani, obviously for toys. He has already prepared his shopping list which included megatron, hot wheels and few other kids machine. They are coming by 6th. Yesterday was cool in office, the Citrix issue was resolved and looking for a big list this weekend but they are small ticket items. Adiv recovered and still his gums are swollen but he is sleeping well. The summer is creating problem.

Adiv is having a very tough time. His viral fever subsided but teeth problem continues to be a big issue. He is unable to sleep properly so mili and myself are also unable to sleep. He wakes up frequently at night and I don't know why my sleep also has become very disruptive. On a slight sound I get up. We started the homeopathic medicine teething trouble combination 21. I am hoping very badly that he gets some relief, which will give some rest to me as well. I was trying for work from home but I don't think I am too comfortable with Prashanth on this. Mathai has been very helpful. Finally booked the ticket on 31st May for Ritesh marriage. He is also coming along. Fortunately we got the confirmed seats. I am in a very bad shape today. Didn't had a good sleep for last 4 to 5 days. Mili is in much bad condition than me. Poor girl, parenting takes a toll.

Don't know what to write. Not in a good mood. Adiv is sick with viral fever since 26th. Occasional high fever, he pukes everything. Yesterday I worked from home. We took him to the doctor Pradeep at MSR and he diagnosed viral infection.asked us to continue with the ibugesic and relent syrup. Give him sponge bath every time fever shoots up. With summer getting bad day by day, it's really a pain to have a fever. He told us if the situation does not improves then we have to revisit again by tomorrow. I think I will take home. Have a worst feeling that unless antibiotics are prescribed things will not improve. It's a repeat after 6 months. What happened is Etu missed his school today. Adi got up at 4am and was running very high temperature, we gave him the medicine and and it took almost 2 hrs for him to sleep peacefully. I took him to my bed and we talked a lot, I was telling him some story and he asked me to include some familiar faces like Etu, mummy, kaku, Kush etc. kids ar...

Yesterday was my and Ritesh birthday. A blast and when we both took off from work it got to be special. First half got spoilt by a call from office. They don't stop pestering even when you are on leave. The nas presentation was to be discussed for mr juneja. I have briefed everything on last Friday but still no body want to take it forward. Still I managed to shrug it off.  Later a good message came to carry on from office. That's it. We had a cake cutting on Sunday night, as usual Etu and Adi wanted to get there hands dirty as soon it was placed. I managed to hold them for some time. Finished the night with a peg of Jameson. It was a day to celebrate, we had to decide between Saadi ke side effects or queen. Mili was for queen as she didn't wanted to get into any arguments after close to 8 yrs into marriage. Etu recitation poem for euro seniors on 24 the march. I don't remember whether I had this too in school but want to see how it feels to recite poem. Etu didn't go to school today. Mili was too tired to get up and Adi was making it horrible. I think he is not eating properly at night and so wakes up every now and then. He gets his portion at dinner time with me but how to estimate when he is done is tough. I think he needs a glass of milk 30 mnts after dinner so he is actually full before sleeping.  I will take mili to doctor tomorrow at MS, she is constantly complaining of pain in her sole. Better not to ignore. I showed some of the flipboard pictures of exotic hotels to Etu, he was excited. I think in this way I will be able to realize the true potential of iPad as a means of communication. Also I have to keep tab on the irctc date for onward reservation. I will setup a reminder. The nas monitoring discussion is happening today. I managed to churn up some numbers for our nas storage. I don't want to think about the office stuff right now.
